Who we are
Hilos Técnicos S.M., S.L., located in the industrial area of Sant Andreu de la Barca (Barcelona), began operations under the management of Mr Jordi Sánchez Busquets, a pioneer in Spain in the manufacture of synthetic technical yarns (monofilament and raffia), with over 50 years’ experience in the sector.
Since its inception, the company has developed its own technologies and production processes, always embracing new technological advances. Hilos Técnicos S.M., S.L. manufactures and distributes yarns of the highest quality, and all this has been made possible thanks to the absolute dedication of its staff and the drive to continue growing, both nationally and internationally, as our company is present in various international markets.

What we do
With extensive experience in plastic extrusion, we manufacture monofilaments and raffia in a range of strengths using top-quality materials. Polyethylene (PE) Polypropylene (PP) Polyamide (PA)
Our products can be heat-stable, insect-repellent, flame-retardant and formulated with long-lasting UV stabilisers; thanks to the chemical compound that absorbs ultraviolet rays, this ensures that the final product does not degrade prematurely when exposed to sunlight, offering optimum durability.
